Grants from ThyssenKrupp Technologies
One objective of ThyssenKrupp Technologies is to sponsor the education of gifted
students to help them advance swiftly in their studies. Grants are available from
the Rheinstahl foundation and the ThyssenKrupp study support program. Grants are
also awarded to foreign students to enable them to study at the NITHH.
Who is eligible?
The Rheinstahl foundation and ThyssenKrupp study support program offer grants to students aiming for a university degree. Grant-sponsored courses at present include mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and sales engineering. Only undergraduates studying for a degree are eligible for a Rheinstahl foundation grant.
What is the Rheinstahl foundation?
The Rheinstahl foundation was set up in 1960 and seeks to assist gifted students
in their scientific education.
Eminent university teachers and top-ranking ThyssenKrupp executives make up the
management board of the Rheinstahl foundation.
The Rheinstahl foundation awards one grant payment per semester and also assists
in finding practical training placements and arranging graduation papers. In addition,
it invites its grant recipients during their basic course to various functions
of interest and keeps them regularly informed on ThyssenKrupp.
What is the ThyssenKrupp study support program?
Academic study is similarly promoted by the ThyssenKrupp study support program
which is primarily oriented toward the children of ThyssenKrupp employees. Further
