NITHH (Northern Institute of Technology Hamburg-Harburg)
ThyssenKrupp Technologies also sponsors the Northern
Institute of Technology (NIT) at the Technical University of Hamburg-Harburg
(TUHH) by awarding grants to foreign students. The Northern Institute of Technology
Hamburg-Harburg sets the standard of engineering training in Germany. Highly qualified
foreign students are offered a curriculum which integrates a transnational and
interdisciplinary perspective with the internationally recognized strengths of
a "Made in Germany" engineering degree.
Engineering sciences include the following subject areas:
- information and communication systems
- materials science
- process engineering
- mechatronics
- environmental engineering
The degree course is complemented by a broad selection of subjects from the
fields of economics, politics, law, culture and languages. Case studies and workshops
teach the skills which mark out the executives of tomorrow. Study is enhanced
