ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems’ submarines are the most modern, compact, nonnuclear worldwide. They feature outstanding properties such as extraordinary stealth and advanced sensors and weapon systems. Extended endurance, speed and impressive diving depth are additional virtues possessed by these barely locatable vessels. With their air-independent propulsion systems such as fuel cell or Stirling, they stay submerged much longer than conventional submarines. The more than 160 vessels sold reflect the satisfaction of our customers worldwide. These operations are coordinated by the Kiel-based Submarine division.
