SUMMER CAMP IN INDIA
Summer camp a big hit with children of employees

More than 130 children of employees from ThyssenKrupp Industries India were treated to four weeks of summer camp fun. Activities on offer ranged from climbing, skating, swimming and football to handicrafts and staging magic shows. And of course everything took place under the supervision of trained education staff.

“We have been organizing these summer camps for children from six to 16 since 1995,” says Vice Chairman Dara N. Damania. “Demand is always huge. At these camps the children discover a world full of fun things to do and without hierarchies. They make a lot of friends here. The summer camps also strengthen the sense of belonging of their parents, our employees. Bridges are built between families which have a positive influence on work.”
